Motor Underwriter

As a Mortgage Underwriter with 6+ years of experience, you will be responsible for assessing creditworthiness and making informed decisions on consumer finance applications. Your key responsibilities will include: - Underwriting new business applications based on established criteria - Evaluating all applications in accordance with Retail Lending Standards and Policy - Collaborating with sales teams to address challenges in decisions and appeals - Handling complex inquiries from staff and external sources to ensure fair outcomes - Applying Consumer Duty principles to deliver fair outcomes in all activities - Sharing best practices in lending and ensuring compliance with internal and external standards - Maintaining knowledge of MotoNovo Finance products and services to provide accurate information and promote them - Assisting in the training and development of new underwriters - Staying updated on regulatory and legislative information related to MotoNovo Finance products - Understanding and complying with relevant policies and procedures - Performing quality checks for the team and conducting error discussions and root cause analyses - Providing support to the team, Team Leaders, and Managers as needed Immediate joiners are preferred for this role. The work schedule includes 5 days a week with rotational week-offs.,
