Position: Mother Teacher – Class 2

Board: ICSE

Experience: Experienced in teaching ICSE curriculum

Role & Responsibilities

• Act as the primary teacher and mentor for Class 2 students, ensuring their overall academic, emotional, and social development.
• Teach core subjects (English, Mathematics, Environmental Studies, General Knowledge, and Value Education) as per the ICSE curriculum.
• Maintain a nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and discipline.
• Use interactive teaching methods (storytelling, activities, worksheets, role-play, smart class tools) to make learning engaging.
• Develop lesson plans, assessments, and progress reports in alignment with school guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress, strengths, and areas of improvement.
• Identify and support children with different learning needs and paces.
• Ensure classroom management with patience and empathy, promoting good behaviour and values.
• Encourage participation in co-curricular activities, school functions, and competitions.
• Act as a guide and counsellor for young learners, shaping their personality and confidence.

Eligibility & Requirements

• Education: Graduate/Postgraduate with B.Ed. (mandatory).
• Experience: Prior experience teaching in ICSE schools at the primary level (preferably Class 2).
• Skills:
• Strong command over English (spoken & written).
• Excellent classroom management with patience and empathy.
• Ability to design age-appropriate activities and creative teaching aids.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues.

Desirable Advantage

• Training or certification in Early Childhood/Primary Education.
• Experience in conducting value-based learning and activity-oriented classes.
• Ability to integrate digital learning tools into classroom teaching.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
