Job Description

Responsibilities: 1. Classroom Management: · Create a well-organized and child-friendly classroom environment. · Implement the Montessori curriculum effectively, incorporating hands-on learning experiences. 2. Lesson Planning: · Develop age-appropriate lesson plans based on the Montessori philosophy and curriculum. · Integrate various subjects and activities to foster holistic development. 3. Individualized Instruction: · Provide individualized instruction and support to meet the unique needs of each child. · Foster independence and self-directed learning among students. 4. Observation and Assessment: · Conduct regular observations of students to assess their progress and development. · Maintain accurate records of each child's achievements and areas for improvement. 5. Communication: · Establish open and regular communication with parents to discuss children's progress. · Organize and participate in parent-teacher conferences as needed. 6. Collaboration: · Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive teaching team. · Participate in professional development opportunities to stay updated on best practices. 7. Classroom Materials and Resources: · Ensure the availability and proper use of Montessori materials and resources. · Create a print-rich environment to promote literacy. 8. Safety and Well-being: · Prioritize the safety and well-being of all students in the classroom. · Follow established health and safety protocols. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field. Montessori certification from a recognized training centre. Previous experience as a Montessori Teacher is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, flexibility, and a genuine love for working with young children. Preference will be given to the candidates who have Apparatus knowledge.
