Job Description

Primary responsibility of this role is to provide 24x7 production support to Mongo and Db2 databases. Ideal candidate should have 5+ years of overall experience and expert level knowledge of Mongo DB technology (optionally IBM Db2 LUW), and he/she should be capable enough to handle complex issues independently and provide resolutions within agreed SLA s, also ensure customer delight, and always adhere to HSBC policies and procedures. Candidate having creative thinking and willing to bring innovations and passionate about working on challenging initiatives will be given preference. Requirements Primary responsibility of this role is to provide 24x7 Production Support for MongoDB databases. Perform Root Cause Analysis and troubleshooting majority production issues and provide solutions. Maintain High Availability & Replication setups. Primary responsibility of this role is to provide 24x7 Production Support for Mongo databases. Candidate should be capable to handling production issues independently and provide resolutions within agreed SLA s. Participate in Crisis Calls, MIR, DQR Experience of working in Sharding Environments Knowledge of Replication Experience in various monitoring tools like profiler, Mongo top, Mongostats Experience in MongoDB backup and recovery Experience in OPs Manager. Experience in MongoDB Logging mechanism and Journaling Experience of Handling Crisis Calls. Troubleshoot various type of critical issues in production environments. Candidate ready to work in 247 shifts on rotational basis. Additional Skill Experience in IBM Db2 RDBMS technology. Soft skills / Behavioral Qualities: Efficiently manage all tasks. Taking ownership and accountability of tasks. Proactive approach in taking tasks. Active listening skills Clear, Precise, and Timely communication with Customer/Team Members/Management Ready to work in 365 days / 24 x 7 environment as per Business/Project requirements
