Mithai Maker

We are seeking a skilled Mithai Maker with expertise in preparing authentic Indian sweets and savouries such as laddoos, mathri, namakpaare, shakkarpara, barfis, and other traditional delicacies. The ideal candidate will have a background in Food Technology or Culinary Arts and possess both technical knowledge and hands-on expertise in sweet and savoury preparation. Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and develop traditional Indian sweets and savouries following authentic recipes. Experiment with healthier/modern variations while maintaining taste and authenticity. Ensure hygiene, cleanliness, and compliance with FSSAI food safety standards. Manage raw material usage, portioning, and wastage control. Collaborate with the R&D and production team for new product development (NPD). Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Monitor quality, taste, and consistency of products before dispatch. Train junior staff or helpers in processes, hygiene, and product handling. RequirementsDiploma/Degree in Food Technology, Culinary Arts, or related field. Proven experience (2–5 years) in making Indian sweets and savouries. Strong knowledge of traditional recipes and preparation techniques. Familiarity with food safety standards and kitchen hygiene practices. Ability to innovate with recipes (e.g., millet-based, baked, or sugar-free sweets). Team player with good time management and multitasking skills. Preferred SkillsExperience in industrial/large-scale mithai production. Knowledge of shelf-life management, packaging suitability, and storage. Creativity in festive/seasonal product development.
