Job Description

Role & responsibilities

1. Data Management & Reporting

  • Collect, validate, and maintain data from various internal systems.
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for management.
  • Prepare dashboards and performance trackers using Excel, Google Sheets, or BI tools.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of data across all reports.

2. Analysis & Insights

  • Analyze business performance trends and highlight variances.
  • Provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop KPI reports for sales, operations, finance, or HR (based on business needs).

3. System Administration

  • Manage and update internal databases, CRMs, and reporting tools.
  • Coordinate with IT teams to resolve system issues.
  • Support implementation of new software, tools, and automation processes.

4. Process Improvement

  • Identify gaps in data processes and recommend improvements.
  • Automate repetitive reporting tasks using Excel macros, Power Query, or BI tools.
  • Standardize reporting formats and data workflows.

5. Coordination & Support

  • Work closely with cross-functional teamsSales, Operations, Finance, HR, etc.
  • Provide training to staff on data reporting and system usage.
  • Support audits and compliance requirements by providing necessary data.

Required Skills

  • Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Power Query, Macros preferred).
  • Knowledge of databases (SQL basics is a plus).
  • Experience with BI/reporting tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio.
  • Analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
