Milling Machine Operator

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manual Milling Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team at Pneumatic Power Tools. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating vertical and/or horizontal manual milling machines, interpreting technical drawings, and producing precision parts to tight tolerances. www.strappingtoolppt.com Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate manual milling machines to machine parts according to blueprints, sketches, and work orders. Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and materials for each job. Adjust machine settings, feeds, and speeds to achieve required dimensions and surface finishes. Measure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments. Maintain equipment in proper working order, perform minor repairs, and replace worn tooling. Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical/machining certificate preferred. 2+ years of experience operating manual milling machines in a production or job shop environment. Strong knowledge of machining practices, cutting tools, and shop math. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T symbols. Familiarity with measurement and inspection tools. Strong attention to detail and quality focus. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Good hand–eye coordination and manual dexterity.
