Job Description

Role Summary: The MIG Welder is responsible for carrying out high-quality welding and fabrication work using MIG welding machines. The role involves reading technical drawings, assembling metal components, performing accurate welds, and ensuring finished products meet quality standards. Key Responsibilities Welding & FabricationPerform MIG welding on mild steel, stainless steel, or aluminum components as per job requirements. Read and interpret engineering drawings, welding symbols, and measurements. Fit, clamp, and weld parts in proper sequence to maintain accuracy and structural integrity. Fabricate frames, assemblies, and structures as per design specifications. Ensure weld quality by checking penetration, strength, finishing, and alignment. Inspect joint preparation, material dimensions, and finished welds. Identify welding defects and perform necessary corrections. Maintain accurate measurements and ensure all work meets company quality standards. Machine Operation & MaintenanceOperate MIG welding machines, grinders, cutters, and other fabrication tools. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of welding equipment. Report faults, machine issues, or material shortages to supervisors. Follow all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and workshop rules. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Ensure proper handling and storage of gas cylinders, wires, and consumables.
