Job Description

Leading Banking (CIB) is designed to provide centralized IT services to CIB businesses globally, with a focus on innovation, agility, and efficiency. The scope is worldwide with teams located in main regions (Asia, India, Europe, Americas) and it covers the production maintenance of the platforms as well.

You will be part of a dynamic team of IT professionals and will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and projects.

Responsibilities

Installation and Configuration of JBOSS EAP, WebSphere and Tomcat Application Server, on LINUX as well as Windows Platforms.
Hands on Experience in Installation, Configuring, Troubleshooting, Performance tuning, monitoring on WebSphere Application Server, Tomcat and Jboss.
Experience in installing, Configuring and Troubleshooting
Experience in installing WebSphere application server GUI, Silent and Console modes. Creating profiles like DMGR profile, Application server profile, Custom server profile and Federating Application server profile or Custom server profile with DMGR profile.
experience in integrating IHS webserver with WebSphere Application server.
Deploying the applications (war or ear) on multiple WebSphere Server instances and maintaining Load balancing, high availability and fail over for the servers.
Experience in Install and configured plug-ins for web servers like Apache HTTP 2.0/2.x, Jboss Web server 1.x.
Experience in deploying applications JAR, WAR, EAR, and maintained Load Balancing, High Availability and Fail over WLST scripts and through command line in JBoss EAP.
Should have experience in involving Minor and Major upgrade on TOMCAT and Apache Webserver.
Should have experience in configuring Oracle database in WebSphere and JBOSS application server.
Strong experience in configuring and administering Connection Pools for JDBC connections in WebSphere and Jboss EAP.
Extensive experience in troubleshooting by using Thread Dumps for WebSphere application and JBOSS issues.
Experience in Apache http Server, Apache Tomcat Server as administrator for Server Installations, Configuration, Application components deployment, performance tuning including troubleshooting and maintenance.
Experience in finding Memory Leaks and adjusting JVM Heap Size and Garbage Collector parameters during performance monitoring and performance tuning of WebSphere server.
Node manager configuration for administering the managed servers in WebSphere.

1. Expertise on Linux/windows environments (admin skills are needed)

2. English (mandatory).

3. Expertise on high availability environments.

4. Strong global Infrastructure knowledge (Clustering, Storage, Network, OS, )

5. Automation - scripting capabilities

6. Ansible skills (or other automation skills)

7. Team and collaborative working to develop and deliver appropriate solutions skills

8. Customer service-oriented skills

9. Experience of delivering strategic priorities within strict timelines.

10. Experience on production environment and support

11. Analytical mind-set

12. Ability to work well under pressure, ability to work autonomous and in team environment

13. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
