Job Description

Role Overview: As a Middleware Administrator at NTT DATA, your primary responsibility is to ensure the top-notch performance of clients" packaged application technologies, such as ErP and Middleware. Your crucial role involves proactively monitoring, investigating, and resolving application-based incidents, service requests, and alerts to maintain smooth operations. You will be handling second-line support with a medium level of complexity, focusing on resolving client requests and issues while adhering to service level agreements (SLAs). Your role also includes updating tickets with resolution tasks, logging incidents promptly, and optimizing application infrastructure and services. Key Responsibilities: - Proactively monitor, investigate, and resolve application-based incidents, service requests, and alerts. - Handle second-line support, focusing on resolving client requests and issues within SLAs. - Update tickets with resolution tasks, log incidents promptly, and optimize application infrastructure. - Communicate with other teams and clients to provide necessary support. - Execute change management duties carefully, ensuring proper documentation and approval. - Work with automation teams to optimize efforts and coach Service desk and L1 teams. - Identify problems before they impact client services and contribute to trend analysis reports. - Support project work, execute approved maintenance activities, and assist in disaster recovery functions. Qualifications Required: - Hands-on experience managing platforms like ErP, Middleware, and other business-critical software. - Moderate experience in managed services and knowledge of ticketing tools like ServiceNow. - Ability to handle multiple tasks, execute change management duties, and lead troubleshooting effectively. - Capacity to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and plan activities accordingly. - Effective communication skills to work across different cultures and social groups. - Active listening skills to understand clients" needs and ensure a positive client experience. - Ability to maintain a positive outlook under pressure and put in extra effort when necessary. - Bachelor's degree in information technology/computing or equivalent work experience.
