Job Description

As a Middleware Administrator at NTT DATA, your primary responsibility is to ensure the optimal functioning of our clients" packaged application technologies, such as ErP and Middleware. Your role will involve proactively monitoring, investigating, and resolving application-based incidents, service requests, and alerts to maintain seamless operations. You will be handling second-line support tasks with a medium level of complexity, focusing on resolving client requests and issues while adhering to service level agreements (SLAs). Your daily tasks will include updating tickets with resolution tasks, promptly logging incidents, and ensuring the optimization of application infrastructure and services. Effective communication and teamwork are fundamental aspects of this role. You will collaborate with other teams and clients to provide necessary support, contribute to the change management process by executing changes rigorously, and ensure proper documentation and approval of all changes. Your responsibilities will also include working with automation teams to enhance operational efficiency, coaching Service desk and L1 teams, leading initial client escalations for operational issues, identifying and addressing problems proactively, and contributing to trend analysis reports for continuous improvement. Additionally, you will have opportunities to support project work, execute approved maintenance activities, and assist in implementing disaster recovery functions. Your ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances, communicate effectively across different cultures, and maintain a positive outlook even in high-pressure environments will be crucial for success in this role. To excel in this position, you should have hands-on experience managing platforms like ErP and Middleware, familiarity with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. A bachelor's degree in information technology/computing or equivalent work experience is required.
