Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the curriculum.
Teach grammar, vocabulary, writing, reading comprehension, and literature.
Encourage creative writing and public speaking through projects and presentations.
Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies to enhance learning outcomes.
Assess student progress through classwork, assignments, and tests; provide constructive feedback.
Maintain records of student performance and report progress to parents and administrators.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect and collaboration.
Foster critical thinking and appreciation for language, culture, and literature.
Organize and participate in literary events, debates, drama, or reading club.
Attend staff meetings, professional development programs, and school events as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelors or Masters degree in English / English Literature / Education.
B.Ed. is mandatory
Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in mandatory.
Strong command of spoken and written English.
Familiarity with CBSE / ICSE / IB curriculum (as applicable).
