Job Overview

Seeking an experienced Microsoft Licensing & Presales Executive to manage Microsoft product licensing and subscription sales for corporate clients.
The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of Microsoft licensing programs (CSP, EA, MPSA, Open Value) and strong client engagement skills. This role involves advising customers on suitable licensing options, preparing commercial proposals, and coordinating with Microsoft partners and distributors for quotes and renewals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end Microsoft licensing sales and renewals for corporate and SMB clients.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate licensing models (CSP, MPSA, EA, Open Value, etc.).
  • Prepare and present licensing proposals, cost comparisons, and product bundles across Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Azure, and Dynamics 365.
  • Engage with clients through calls, meetings, and presales discussions to identify and qualify opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Microsoft distributors and partners to validate SKUs, obtain quotes, and ensure compliance.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for pricing, order processing, and delivery alignment.
  • Track and achieve sales and renewal targets, ensuring timely invoicing and client satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on Microsoft licensing policies, new products, incentives, and promotions.
  • Maintain accurate CRM documentation for all leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.

Requirements

  • 2-6 years of experience in Microsoft licensing sales, IT product sales, or cloud presales.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft CSP, EA, MPSA, and Open Value programs.
  • Familiarity with key Microsoft products Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Azure, and Dynamics 365.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and achieve revenue or renewal targets.
  • Self-motivated and customer-focused, with a strong aptitude for solution-based selling.
  • Microsoft or distributor-led licensing certification (if any) will be an added advantage.
