Job Description

In this role as a Microsoft Fabric Power BI Sr Developer, you will be responsible for developing and designing comprehensive reports with millions of data points using Power BI. You will guide the team in utilizing the features of Microsoft Fabric when creating new reports and perform detailed data analysis and business data reporting to support decision-making processes. Your role will involve handling large data sets efficiently to ensure data integrity and accuracy. Collaboration with stakeholders to understand data flow and processing functionality will be essential, identifying opportunities for improvement. You will communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders and create technical designs for proposed solutions. Additionally, you will research and implement new solutions to enhance business intelligence capabilities and act as a subject matter expert on Power BI and Microsoft Fabric, providing training and support to team members. Ensuring the seamless integration of Power BI reports within the broader Microsoft Fabric ecosystem will also be part of your responsibilities. Qualifications Required: - Expert Business Intelligence Developer with hands-on experience in Power BI. - 7-10 years of Business Data Analysis experience, particularly in handling large data sets. - Experience with Microsoft Fabric, as Power BI is rebranding into Microsoft Fabric. - Ability to develop reports with millions of data points and guide in utilizing the features of Microsoft Fabric when creating new reports. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data analysis abilities. - Good communication skills and the ability to liaise between business and technical teams. Additional Company Details: - This is an offshore/India-based position that does not require in-office work. However, occasional visits to the Hyderabad office for KT purposes and relationship-building are encouraged. The working schedule is flexible, with most of the team working from Noon until 8:30 pm IST or later to accommodate meetings with US-based counterparts when needed. Nice-to-Have Skills: - Knowledge of the US Healthcare domain is preferable. - Microsoft Certification such as Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate or Power BI Data Analyst Associate. - Knowledge of Agile methodologies. - Acute focus on innovation.
