Microbiologist

About the Role:

We are seeking a Microbiologist to join our innovative research team. This position involves conducting microbiological investigations across diverse areas such as healthcare, food safety, environmental monitoring, and pharmaceuticals. The ideal candidate should be well-versed with microbiology protocols and experienced in audits and regulatory documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct scientific studies on the behavior, structure, and function of microorganisms.
• Culture and maintain microbial strains for research and diagnostics.
• Use molecular biology, microscopy, and biochemical methods for microbial identification and classification.
• Support the diagnosis of microbial diseases through lab analysis and clinical microbiology techniques.
• Analyze the role of microbes in ecosystems, including applications in water treatment, soil fertility, and pollution control.
• Perform microbial quality checks in food, beverage, and pharmaceutical products.
• Assist in the development and testing of pharmaceutical products such as vaccines, antibiotics, and biologics.
• Contribute to biotechnological innovations including fermentation, genetic engineering, and biofuel production.
• Carry out antimicrobial susceptibility testing and molecular diagnostics.
• Ensure compliance with quality control protocols across various industrial and clinical settings.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Educational Background: B.Sc / M.Sc / M.Tech in Microbiology or related field

Required Skills:

• Experience in NABL and BIS audits, FSSAI documentation, and validation procedures
• Proficiency in SOP development and microbiology lab protocols
