**Job Description:** **Role Overview:** As an Assistant Manager in Room Operations at Sheraton Grand Palace Indore, your main responsibility will be to assist in managing the execution of all operations in the rooms area departments, which includes Front Office, Engineering/Maintenance, and Housekeeping. You will be leading a specific team to ensure guest and employee satisfaction is continually improved while maximizing the financial performance of the department. Your role will involve monitoring compliance with standards and procedures and assisting in meeting or exceeding property goals. **Key Responsibilities:** - Verify that goals related to guest tracking and productivity are effectively communicated to the team - Create a motivating and empowering environment that emphasizes teamwork and continuous improvement - Understand and act upon employee and guest satisfaction results to enhance strengths and address areas of improvement - Lead by example and assist employees in exceeding guest expectations - Assist in managing all operations in the rooms area departments and follow property-specific plans - Publish guest satisfaction results promptly and address employee concerns professionally - Communicate goals and results with employees regularly and provide necessary training - Ensure all team members meet or exceed hospitality requirements - Assist in performing Quality audits, reviewing financial statements, and maximizing departmental financial performance - Conduct human resources activities such as interviews, hiring decisions, and ensuring thorough orientations for new team members - Celebrate successes and recognize team members" contributions publicly **Qualifications Required:** - High school diploma or GED with 4 years of experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related professional area - OR 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major from an accredited university, with 2 years of experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related professional area At Sheraton Hotels & Resorts, you will be part of a global community that values diversity and inclusion, creating engaging experiences for guests worldwide.
