Metrology Operator

As a Metrology Operator at UST, you will play a crucial role in performing precision measurements on semiconductor wafers using a variety of metrology techniques. Your responsibilities will include: - Operating metrology tools such as ellipsometers, XRF, four-point probes, and defect inspection systems to ensure accurate wafer measurements. - Running wafers with correct recipes and ensuring timely and accurate data transfer to process teams. - Generating and maintaining SPC charts to monitor tool and process stability, following SOPs and BKMs. - Maintaining detailed tool logs, including usage history, anomalies, and recipe changes to support MTTR and MTBF tracking. - Supporting process improvement initiatives by suggesting enhancements to operational protocols and measurement workflows to increase efficiency and repeatability. - Escalating tool or process issues and following up on non-conformities related to inspection quality or data accuracy. - Supporting cycle time reduction through screening tool down forecasts, coordinating wafer movement, and aligning tool reservations with stakeholders.
