Job Description

As a Metrology Operator at UST, you will be responsible for performing precision measurements on semiconductor wafers using various metrology techniques. Your role will involve hands-on operation of metrology tools, data analysis, and collaboration with process teams in the semiconductor industry. Key Responsibilities: - Operate metrology tools such as ellipsometers, XRF, four-point probes, and defect inspection systems to conduct accurate wafer measurements. - Run wafers with correct recipes and ensure timely and accurate data transfer to process teams. - Generate and maintain SPC charts to monitor tool and process stability, following SOPs and BKMs. - Maintain detailed tool logs, including usage history, anomalies, and recipe changes to support MTTR and MTBF tracking. - Support process improvement initiatives and propose enhancements to operational protocols and measurement workflows for increased efficiency and repeatability. - Escalate tool or process issues and follow up on non-conformities related to inspection quality or data accuracy. - Support cycle time reduction by screening tool down forecasts, coordinating wafer movement, and aligning tool reservations with stakeholders. Qualifications: - Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Physics, Materials Science, or a related field.
