Summary:

UST is looking for Metrology Operator

The Opportunity:

Looking for technically skilled Metrology Operator to perform precision measurements on semiconductor wafers using a range of metrology techniques. This is a hands-on role involving direct tool operation, data analysis, and coordination with process teams. Semiconductor industry experience is a strong advantage.

What you need:

Operate metrology tools such as ellipsometers, XRF, four-point probes, and defect inspection systems to perform accurate wafer measurements.

Run wafers using correct recipes and ensure timely, accurate data transfer to process teams.

Generate and maintain SPC charts to monitor tool and process stability, following SOPs and BKMs.

Maintain detailed tool logs, including usage history, anomalies, and recipe changes—supporting MTTR and MTBF tracking.

Support process improvement initiatives and suggest improvements to operational protocols and measurement workflows to enhance efficiency and repeatability.

Escalate tool or process issues and follow up on non-conformities related to inspection quality or data accuracy.

Support cycle time reduction by screening tool down forecasts, coordinating wafer movement, and aligning tool reservations with stakeholders.

Required Skills:

Metrology tool exposure, cleanroom protocols, semiconductor fabrication processes

Qualification:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Physics, Materials Science, or a related field.
