Metrology Engineer

As a Metrology Engineer at our esteemed client, you will play a crucial role in capturing high-precision visual data for asset inspection and reverse engineering using advanced photogrammetry techniques. Your responsibilities will include: - Capturing high-quality photographic data using specialized photogrammetry equipment - Traveling to various sites, including international locations, often at short notice - Conducting photography at events and industrial locations requiring technical accuracy and aesthetic quality - Collaborating with clients on-site to understand project requirements and deliver visual assets accordingly - Managing post-production processes including photo editing, retouching, and 3D reconstruction (knowledge of Agisoft or RealityCapture is a plus) - Maintaining records of shoots, managing schedules, and tracking expenses - Ensuring visual data meets technical and quality standards To excel in this role, you must have: - Proven experience with professional photographic equipment - Background in event photography, particularly sporting or high-paced environments - Valid UK passport and readiness to travel frequently - Strong artistic skills with an understanding of framing, lighting, and color composition - Excellent computer skills; advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop required - Familiarity with photogrammetry software such as Agisoft Metashape or RealityCapture is advantageous - Attention to detail throughout the entire capture and editing process - Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to interact professionally with clients and teams In addition to the technical requirements, we value the following personal attributes in our team members: - Analytical mindset with practical problem-solving skills - Customer-focused with a results-driven approach - Clear, proactive communicator - Adaptable and comfortable working in dynamic, fast-changing environments - Self-motivated, creative, and collaborative - Resilient under pressure and capable of managing multiple tasks,
