Job Role:

This is a high-autonomy role requiring sharp market instincts and an unwavering commitment to transparency. Your core focus will be to secure and optimise the buying and selling of key metal scrap commodities (80% steel, 15% aluminium, 5% copper)

Optimise Transactions: Lead the execution and optimization of high-value metal scrap transactions, managing supply and demand across diverse corporate sectors and geographies.

Master Pricing Dynamics: Maintain deep, real-time expertise on pan-India commodity indices and local demand-supply equations, setting competitive and profitable digital pricing strategies.

Ensure Compliance & Traceability: Integrate transactions seamlessly into our digital platform, ensuring traceability, compliance with all regulatory mandates, and aligning perfectly with client sustainability reports.

Market Intelligence: Provide proactive market insights and forecasts

Transactions on online/offline auction: Close the transactions successfully

Skill and Competencies

We need an expert in the metal trading market:

1. Deep Trading Experience

   : Proven track record in metal scrap trading (specifically Steel, Aluminium, and Copper).

2. Pricing Authority

   : Intimate knowledge of market indices and the ability to interpret real-time demand-supply dynamics to inform critical pricing decisions.

3. Compliance Focus

   : Strong understanding of regulatory requirements governing waste and scrap movement in India.

4. Digital Fluency

   : Comfortable operating within a tech-enabled workflow, using data to drive decision-making.
