The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible for benchmark governance and lifecycle management, stakeholders and vendor management, design and implementation of benchmarks for performance and risk measurement, management of Strategic Asset Allocation benchmark changes, sourcing and onboarding of new market indices, market data usage and contract renewal review, relationship management with vendors for contractual aspects and follow-up, negotiation with vendors on contractual terms and fees, licensing cost and process optimization management, as well as contributing to ad hoc projects and improvement initiatives. The candidate should possess a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business-related disciplines, along with at least 5 years of experience in large financial services institutions, especially in the Asset Management and Investment Services sector. A deep understanding of asset management business, including the usage of data, licensing, processes, systems, controls, and deliverables is essential. The candidate should have demonstrated experience in Market Data and hands-on experience in related internal processes, as well as knowledge of Market Data vendor services/products and contractual aspects. Additionally, the candidate should have the ability to effectively communicate with business stakeholders, work collaboratively as part of a small team, and have experience in data management and understanding of data management frameworks. Experience with Market Data Inventory Systems such as FITS, InfoMatch, Optimize Spend, or MDM will be considered as an advantage.,
