Job Description

MES Developer with Mendix Platform

Location: Bengaluru

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop MES applications using Mendix to support manufacturing processes such as production tracking, quality management, and electronic batch records.
Integrate MES with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and shop floor equipment using APIs, OPC, or other protocols.
Maintain and enhance existing MES applications, ensuring performance, reliability, and compliance with GMP and regulatory standards.
Participate in system validation, testing, and documentation activities.
Support MES rollout, training, and hypercare for new production lines or facilities.
Troubleshoot and resolve MES-related issues in a timely manner.
Stay current with Mendix platform updates and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
3+ years of experience in MES development, with at least 1 year using Mendix.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and systems.
Experience with low-code development, microservices, and REST APIs.
Familiarity with GMP, FDA regulations, and validation documentation.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Mendix Rapid or Advanced Developer Certification.
Experience with Opcenter Execution, Ignition, or other MES platforms.
Knowledge of Azure Cloud, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience in medical device or regulated manufacturing environments.
