MES Automation Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Provide automation and MES support across production shifts.
Integrate production equipment into MES systems following internal standards.
Define and develop equipment integration specifications and MES structures (recipes, business rules, measurement results, etc.).
Collaborate with machine suppliers for integration, connectivity, and testing activities.
Conduct equipment acceptance and integration testing, ensuring stable data flow to MES.
Maintain standardization of PLC programs, naming conventions, and automation architecture.
Ensure reliable data collection through industrial measurement technologies.
Prepare documentation, technical guidelines, and provide training to process and key users.
Independently handle technical and project-related responsibilities.

Technical Requirements

Strong experience in
PLC/IPC programming
(Siemens / Omron / Beckhoff).
Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as
RS232, RS485, ProfiNet, EtherCAT, Ethernet/IP, DeviceNet
, etc.
Programming proficiency in
Ladder, Structured Text, C#, or VB
.
Experience in
database integration
(Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, OPC UA/DA).
Familiarity with
Industrie 4.0
and digital manufacturing systems.
Good understanding of SCADA integration and automation networking.

Qualifications

Bachelors or Masters degree
in Mechatronics / Electrical / Electronics Engineering.
Experience:
1 to 3 years (or above) in automation / MES / equipment integration.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting ability.
Good communication skills and a proactive, independent work approach.
Willing to work in
rotational shifts (6 days working)
