Merchant Operations Associates
Working Days

Monday to Friday

Location

Koramangala, Bangalore

Job Role

Data Entry & Maintenance:
Creation of vendor codes and entering vendor details in the system. Scanning and organizing documents. Setting up SKUs in the system. Assisting the merchant team with required documentation with other functions and vendors. Warehouse visits for data management.
Vendor Management:
PO creation/order/reorder/return to vendor. Coordinating with vendors for goods delivery and GRN at the warehouse. Vendor payment follow-up. Vendor visits for data management.
Customer / Catalogue Order:
Working with the CM to close customer orders and catalogue orders. Coordinating with the sales team and vendors for product availability, quotations, and final delivery.
Pricing/Promotion and Schemes:
Updating price/offer price in the system, promotions, and schemes. Online and offline price promotions/benchmarking. Competition store visits.
Online Catalog Creation:
Performing a variety of tasks in populating/procuring content for the product catalog from vendors. Engaging with vendors to get product information as per defined templates of attributes and images. The work includes content creation, population of content from various sources (including research on the internet), interacting/coordinating with vendors/manufacturers, conducting QC, identifying and correcting errors, and maintaining records of work received and performed.

Abilities Required

Excellent in handling large amounts of data and number crunching using Excel
Ability to work independently
Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel)
Agile with data entry and excellent data accuracy skills
MIS preparation on progress
Process orientation and eye for detail
Good English written and verbal communication skills
Collaborating and interpersonal skills
Commitment to meet deadlines and track pending items daily
Proactive attitude and a team player
