Job Title: Merchandiser

Location: Dehradun

Salary Range: ₹22,000 – ₹35,000 per month

About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Merchandiser to join our FirstCry team in Dehradun. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing effective merchandising strategies to drive sales, enhance product visibility, and ensure a seamless customer shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, execute, and monitor merchandising strategies to achieve sales and profit targets.

Ensure timely stock replenishment and maintain optimal inventory levels.

Work closely with store teams to ensure proper product display, placement, and visual merchandising.

Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for product availability and timely delivery.

Analyze sales trends, consumer demand, and market conditions to make informed buying and merchandising decisions.

Regularly review product performance and recommend markdowns, promotions, or new product lines.

Ensure adherence to brand guidelines and maintain consistency across displays.

Prepare sales and stock reports for management review.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, Fashion, or related field.

2–4 years of experience in merchandising, preferably in retail/FMCG/e-commerce sector.

Strong understanding of retail operations and consumer behavior.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.

Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory management tools.
