Merchandiser

As a Merchandiser at Pink City Prints located in Civil Lines, Jaipur, your role involves keeping sampling and production running smoothly and on time by liaising across suppliers, Jaipur studio, and UK team. You will be responsible for owning the Time and Action plan, anticipating risks, maintaining quality, and ensuring production moves forward seamlessly. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain and update the TNA daily with complete, accurate information. - Coordinate sampling, PPS fits, and production hand-offs with suppliers, providing clear feedback and timelines. - Track trims, fabric, and approvals for timely dispatches. - Perform QC checks on samples and production to uphold quality standards. - Troubleshoot issues proactively, propose solutions, and keep the team informed. - Prepare and share production reports and tracker sheets. - Organize and update product data, specs, and BOMs. - Support logistics for on-time deliveries. - Communicate daily with each supplier. - Co-ordinate shipping activities with shippers and factories. About you: - You should have 4+ years of experience in merchandising within craft-based textiles or apparel. - Strong technical understanding of garment construction and production processes is required. - Excellent written and spoken English, clear communication with suppliers. - Proficiency in Advanced Excel and general computer skills. - Exceptionally organized, detail-driven, and proactive in problem-solving. - Passionate about promoting Indian crafts and slow fashion. - A team player who contributes to a positive, productive, and supportive workplace environment.
