Job Description

Responsibilities: Understand and interpret buyer requirements and specifications. Maintain regular communication with buyers regarding samples, production updates, and shipment. Coordinate sample development (proto, fit, size set, PP, shipment samples). Source interlinings, trims, and accessories as per buyer requirements. Work with seniors to finalize product designs. Create and manage Time and Action (TNA) calendar for each order. Monitor pre-production activities, approvals, and order progress. Follow up with internal departments (fabric, cutting, sewing, finishing) to ensure on-time delivery. Prepare and negotiate garment costing with buyers. Maintain records of cost sheets and approvals. Coordinate with QC teams to ensure product meets quality standards. Handle buyer inspections and approvals. Prepare production reports and updates for management and buyers. Maintain order files with all approvals and records. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Textile Engineering, or a related field. Min. 2–5 years of experience in merchandising in a garment/textile factory. Knowledge of garment manufacturing processes. Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and ERP systems. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
