Merchandiser

Responsibilities:

• Understand and interpret buyer requirements and specifications.
• Maintain regular communication with buyers regarding samples, production updates, and shipment.
• Coordinate sample development (proto, fit, size set, PP, shipment samples).
• Source interlinings, trims, and accessories as per buyer requirements.
• Work with seniors to finalize product designs.
• Create and manage Time and Action (TNA) calendar for each order.
• Monitor pre-production activities, approvals, and order progress.
• Follow up with internal departments (fabric, cutting, sewing, finishing) to ensure on-time delivery.
• Prepare and negotiate garment costing with buyers.
• Maintain records of cost sheets and approvals.
• Coordinate with QC teams to ensure product meets quality standards.
• Handle buyer inspections and approvals.
• Prepare production reports and updates for management and buyers.
• Maintain order files with all approvals and records.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Textile Engineering, or a related field.
• Min. 2–5 years of experience in merchandising in a garment/textile factory.
• Knowledge of garment manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and ERP systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
