Job Description

Role & responsibilities

1. Design Coordination & Technical Review

Review and validate MEP designs (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting, and ELV systems) received from consultants.
Provide technical support and design inputs during pre-construction and construction stages.
Ensure integration of MEP systems with architectural and structural components.
Verify compliance with national codes (e.g., NBC, IS, ECBC) and local regulatory norms.

2. Planning & Execution

Prepare and monitor MEP work schedules aligned with the master project plan.
Manage day-to-day execution of MEP activities at the site ensuring timely completion.
Ensure proper installation, testing, and commissioning of all MEP systems.
Coordinate with civil and finishing teams for interface management.

3. Vendor & Contractor Management

Review MEP BOQs, specifications, and tender documents for procurement.
Evaluate and finalize vendors/sub-contractors in collaboration with procurement and contracts teams.
Supervise MEP contractors to ensure performance as per scope, budget, and quality benchmarks.

4. Quality, Safety & Compliance

Conduct inspections and quality checks of MEP works.
Ensure implementation of best practices and safety protocols on-site.
Ensure statutory approvals and compliance with fire, pollution control, energy efficiency, etc.

Preferred candidate profile

Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems and integration
Hands-on experience in project execution and site coordination
Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit MEP, MS Project/Primavera
Good communication and team coordination
Problem-solving and decision-making ability
