Job Description

reviewing designs, preparing cost estimates, managing project schedules, monitoring site work, and providing technical advice on MEP installations and potential issues

Design & Planning:
Review architectural and engineering plans, prepare technical specifications, and develop cost estimates for MEP systems.
Project Management:
Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of MEP services, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
Coordination & Collaboration:
Serve as a liaison between project managers, architects, engineers, contractors, vendors, and clients to facilitate smooth workflow and address issues.
Technical Oversight:
Provide technical guidance and solutions to staff regarding MEP system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Quality Control:
Conduct site inspections, monitor the quality of MEP installations, and ensure compliance with industry standards and building codes.
Reporting:
Prepare regular progress reports for management and other stakeholders, highlighting any technical issues or impacts on construction schedules.
Risk Management:
Identify potential problems in design or execution and develop solutions to mitigate risks that could affect project outcomes.
Procurement:
Provide input on the procurement of MEP-related materials and trades packages.
