MEP Manager

As an experienced MEP Project Manager, your role will involve managing and coordinating all projects related to Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems in high-rise buildings. Your responsibilities will include: - Understanding and ensuring compliance with Fire, Health, Safety (FHS) Regulations, Cost, Quality, and Schedule requirements for MEP projects. - Coordinating trade activities including Electrical, HVAC, Fire, Plumbing, Security equipment, Low voltage systems, etc. - Overseeing MEP design and execution, liaising with design office, contractors, and sub-contractors. - Coordinating onsite MEP activities, procurement of materials, and related tasks with Project Managers and Field Staff. - Monitoring the installation, start-up, and commissioning of MEP systems. - Ensuring performance and quality control of all MEP trades. - Analyzing project requirements for various MEP aspects and ensuring proper selection and installation of equipment. - Coordinating with main contractors, sub-contractors, and maintenance teams for efficient project execution. - Coordinating the production of as-built drawings during project closeout. Qualifications required for this role include: - B.E or B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, including 8 years in high-rise building construction. - Hands-on experience in procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP Systems. - Proficiency in managing internal and external stakeholders such as vendors, design department, construction teams, and various departments. - Experience in vendor management, including handling escalations, price variations, delays, disputes, and subcontractor performance evaluation. - Prior experience in precast construction is a plus.
