MEP Lead

The role of Subject Matter Expert (SME) in MEP Works involves overseeing, guiding, and managing the planning, design, installation, and execution of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems in commercial projects. Your responsibility will be to ensure adherence to industry standards, optimize system performance, and provide expertise to address technical challenges for timely project delivery. You will collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and design consultants to ensure MEP designs align with project goals. Review and approve MEP designs, drawings, and specifications in compliance with regulations and standards. Provide inputs for innovative, cost-effective, and sustainable MEP solutions. Overseeing the installation, execution, and commissioning of MEP systems is crucial, ensuring quality standards and timelines are met. Regular inspections, audits, and troubleshooting technical challenges are part of your responsibilities during execution. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, environmental standards, safety norms, and obtaining necessary approvals from local authorities. Reviewing BOQs, assisting in value engineering, and monitoring contractor performance are essential for tender management. Act as a technical advisor to internal and external stakeholders, provide training and guidance, maintain detailed documentation, and prepare project progress reports, technical documentation, and risk assessments. Participate in post-occupancy evaluations and recommend improvements for future projects. Qualifications and Work Experience Educational Background: Bachelors degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or related field. Masters degree or certifications in MEP systems will be advantageous. Experience: Minimum 14-18 years of experience in MEP design and execution, preferably in real estate or construction industry. Certifications: Green building certifications and PMP certification are desirable. Knowledge, Skills and Competencies Expertise in MEP systems design, implementation, and commissioning. In-depth knowledge of local building codes, environmental laws, and energy-efficient systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in tools like AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and project management software. Excellent communication and leadership skills.,
