MEP Lead

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Project Planning & Coordination

* Review MEP design drawings, IFC drawings, and construction documents for coordination and compliance.

* Prepare MEP scope of works, BOQs, and technical submissions.

* Coordinate with architects, interior designers, civil teams, and subcontractors to ensure seamless MEP integration within the fit-out works.

* Conduct regular MEP coordination meetings with consultants, clients, and contractors.

* Plan and monitor MEP activities to ensure timely completion aligned with the project schedule.

2. Design & Technical Review

* Provide technical input during the design stage to ensure feasibility and value engineering.

* Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.

* Ensure adherence to local authority requirements (e.g., HVAC, electrical load, plumbing, and fire safety norms).

3. Site Execution & Supervision

*Supervise on-site MEP works, ensuring compliance with approved drawings and specifications.

* Verify installations for quality and functionality during execution and testing & commissioning stages.

* Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for timely delivery and installation.

* Ensure adherence to safety standards and company procedures during MEP works.

4. Testing, Commissioning & Handover

* Oversee testing and commissioning of all MEP systems.

* Prepare and review as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and snag lists.

* Support the project team in handover documentation and client demonstrations.

5. Budgeting & Cost Control

* Assist the QS and project manager in MEP cost estimation and budget tracking.

* Monitor variations, change orders, and ensure cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
