Position Overview: The AGM Billing will be responsible for overseeing all billing and quantity surveying activities for large-scale real estate projects. The role involves managing client and contractor billing, cost control, and reconciliation processes while ensuring adherence to contractual, legal, and financial standards. The position requires strong analytical ability, technical expertise, and leadership in managing billing teams and coordinating with project, contracts, and finance departments. Key Responsibilities: 1. Billing & Documentation: Prepare, verify, and certify client and subcontractor bills as per contractual terms and project progress. Ensure timely submission and approval of bills to avoid payment delays. Monitor reconciliation of quantities between execution, drawings, and BOQ. Validate measurement sheets, RA bills, and final bills in coordination with site teams. 2. Quantity Surveying & Cost Control: Review and verify quantities executed on-site against approved drawings and contracts. Prepare cost variance reports and monitor project budgets vs. actual expenditure. Support tendering and estimation teams with quantity and rate analysis inputs. 3. Contracts & Compliance: Coordinate with contracts and procurement teams for contract change orders, rate revisions, and claims. Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual clauses, and statutory requirements. Manage billing audits and support internal/external audit queries. 4. Team & Coordination: Lead and mentor the billing team at the project site and head office. Collaborate with project managers, planning, procurement, and finance departments to streamline billing processes. Reporting & MIS: Prepare and present periodic billing and cost reports to senior management. Identify bottlenecks in billing cycles and recommend process improvements. Desired Candidate Profile: Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering (mandatory); MBA or PG in Construction Management preferred. Experience: 12–18 years in real estate or large construction projects with extensive exposure to billing, contracts, and cost control. Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and ERP billing modules (SAP / Oracle). Strong knowledge of BOQ, rate analysis, and project cost estimation.
