Job Description

About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled MEP Engineer to join our dynamic team working on the Metro Rail Project in Chennai. This role involves overseeing the design, installation, testing, and commissioning of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems integral to the metro infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Design & Coordination: Develop and review MEP designs, ensuring integration with architectural and structural plans. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless system integration.expertia.ai Installation Oversight: Supervise the installation of MEP systems, ensuring adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. Testing & Commissioning: Lead the testing and commissioning of MEP systems, ensuring all systems function as intended and meet operational requirements. Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and address any discrepancies promptly. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of designs, installations, tests, and inspections for future reference and audits. Vendor Management: Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services, and resolve any issues that may arise. Desired Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering. Experience: 5 to 10 years of experience in MEP engineering, with a focus on metro rail or large-scale infrastructure projects. Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and other relevant design and modeling software.expertia.ai Certifications: Certifications in MEP systems design or project management are advantageous.expertia.ai Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
