Roles and Responsibilities

a. The engineer should have good knowledge of design for the individual stream.

b. He should be versatile in studying the drawings in Auto cad.

c. Knowledge of BIM Modelling (review at least) shall be an added advantage.

d. He should be confident enough to act as a coordinator between Consultant and Subcon for shop drawing approvals.

e. His job will be to ensure that the drawings approved are having no clashes amongst all MEPF services.

f. He has to be involved in approval of technical submittals through various stake holders i/c consultant, architect, internal design senior staff etc.

g. He has to follow up with vendors, Subcons for timely delivery of the material for various services under his stream.

h. He has to inspect every material which comes to site as per stipulated specifications.

i. He should be well versed with site management issues viz. Subcon management, manpower handling.

j. He has to ensure safe and good site practices while executing the works for individual stream.

k. He should be able to ensure quality is maintained at every level while doing site works

l. He has to conduct regular site review meetings for getting update on the status of work.

m. As and when needed, he has to do risk assessment and has to take corrective action.

n. His main focus has to be on On time completion of the project keeping in mind the milestones given.

o. Clearing the invoices of vendors will also be his responsibility based on joint certified measurements.

p. Any changes during the work execution are to be discussed with design team by said candidate.

q. He has to ensure that the contracts are being executed within budgeted amounts.

r. He has to raise alarms if any major delay is happening in supply and execution.

s. To ensure successful testing and commissioning is happening of the systems installed.
