MEP - Engineer

As an experienced MEP-Electrical Engineer, your role will involve collaborating with architects, structural engineers, and project managers to ensure alignment of MEP-Electrical systems with project goals. You will develop and monitor project schedules, oversee design reviews, and implement modifications to enhance system efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Furthermore, you will manage the MEP budget, negotiate contracts, and supervise on-site execution to ensure quality, safety, and adherence to timelines. Your responsibilities will also include integrating MEP systems with smart building technologies, incorporating sustainable practices in designs, and staying updated on industry advancements to recommend innovative solutions. Additionally, you will lead the testing and commissioning of MEP systems, prepare final reports, documentation, and as-built drawings, and mentor the MEP team to foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. To qualify for this role, you must hold a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and possess a minimum of 10-12 years of experience in designing and coordinating MEP systems for various projects. You should have a strong understanding of local building codes, standards, and safety regulations, as well as proficiency in MEP design tools such as AutoCAD and Revit.
