Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai for a MEP BIM Modeler. The responsibilities include developing and managing Building Information Modeling (BIM) models for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems. The MEP BIM Modeler will work closely with engineering teams to ensure model accuracy and integrate designs into collaborative platforms. Additional tasks may involve analyzing project requirements, coordinating with project managers, and ensuring adherence to project timelines and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in BIM software tools such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD
• Proficiency in MEP modeling, including Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems
• Experience in reading and interpreting architectural, structural, and MEP engineering drawings
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for BIM implementation
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to work on-site and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Relevant academic background, such as a diploma or degree in Engineering or a related field
• Familiarity with clash detection processes is a plus
