Role Overview: You will be an Executive in the Ultrasound Department, reporting to the Branch Manager/Head of Department. Your main responsibility will be to assist the Radiologist in preparing reports based on dictated ultrasounds and perform various clerical tasks. Additionally, you will coordinate with patients, doctors, and consultants during and after ultrasounds. Your role will also involve transcribing documents, editing work for accuracy, organizing typing material, creating spreadsheets, and maintaining PNDT related files. Furthermore, you will prioritize emergency cases, maintain departmental documentation, ensure confidentiality of all patient and organizational information, participate in quality assurance activities, and perform any other assigned tasks. Key Responsibilities: - Assist the Radiologist in preparing reports based on dictated ultrasounds and perform clerical tasks. - Coordinate with patients, doctors, and consultants during and after ultrasounds. - Transcribe documents accurately from dictated tapes. - Edit completed work for grammar, spelling, and punctuation. - Organize typing material and create spreadsheets. - Maintain PNDT related files in coordination with the Radiologist. - Prioritize emergency cases and coordinate with consultants/departments accordingly. - Maintain appropriate departmental documentation. - Ensure confidentiality of all communication related to patients, staff, and organizational business. - Participate in quality assurance/quality control activities. - Perform any other tasks assigned due to work requirements. - Engage in Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives. Qualification Required: - Graduation/Diploma in Computers Please note that the dress code will be specified and you will be required to adhere to it along with carrying an ID card during duty hours as per scheduled requirements.
