Medical Scientist - Shanghai

As a Medical Scientist at Syneos Health in Shanghai, you will play a crucial role in the development of medical plans, data analysis, and ensuring project milestones are met. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing medical plans in collaboration with the Medical Director and coordinating with external experts for necessary input - Conducting regular medical data reviews, analyzing data patterns, and documenting medical reviews - Authoring medical data queries, reviewing responses, and approving query closure - Assisting in patient profiles review, study data analysis, protocol deviation review, and creating Medical Review Summary reports - Collaborating with Medical Directors for medical data review and safety meetings - Managing project scope, objectives, and deliverable quality to meet specific milestones and timelines - Serving as the primary interface between internal teams, customers, and vendors for medical data and eligibility review - Identifying risks related to data integrity and subject safety, escalating concerns to project leads promptly - Attending Trusted Process meetings and participating in audits - Adhering to data privacy guidelines, ICH, GCPs, enterprise policies, and project plans To qualify for this role, you should have: - A degree in life sciences (MSc, PharmD, PhD, DMD, MD) or equivalent with relevant scientific experience - Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks in a regulated environment - Strong troubleshooting abilities and understanding of scientific principles for effective data analysis - Excellent communication skills, both written and oral - Proficiency in MS Office programs, spreadsheets, and presentations - Preferably, knowledge of drug development and proficiency with ICH/GCP guidelines - Strong team player with interpersonal skills for effective collaboration in a cross-functional team environment Syneos Health is dedicated to developing its employees through career progression, supportive management, training programs, and a total rewards program.
