Medical Scientific Liaison

Role Overview: As a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) at Novartis, you will play a pivotal role in leading scientific engagement with Medical Experts. Your responsibilities will involve implementing clinical and educational strategies, as well as responding to unsolicited medical inquiries. Based in Mumbai, you will collaborate with a wide range of external stakeholders to co-create value, address patient needs, and positively impact the practice of medicine for enhanced patient access and outcomes. Key Responsibilities: - Leverage relevant evidence during scientific engagements - Identify impactful insights and contribute to various strategic plans such as the Integrated Product Strategy (IPS), Integrated Evidence Generation Plans, and launch excellence roadmap - Enhance healthcare partnerships, disease area strategies, and support Novartis in strengthening healthcare systems to improve patient access and outcomes - Gather and leverage insights to contribute effectively to patient journey mapping, evidence generation plans, and medical strategies - Identify data gaps, data generation opportunities, and unmet needs to drive improved patient outcomes - Engage with external stakeholders aligned with the medical strategy - Create personalized engagement strategies, utilize multiple channels effectively, and communicate the right evidence to stakeholders at the right time - Expand engagement beyond Healthcare Professionals and support innovative partnership models to transform clinical practice and drive positive change in patient care Qualification Required: - Hold a Pharmacist, Masters, or other post-graduate degree in health/life sciences, with a doctoral degree being preferred - Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships - Working knowledge of the Healthcare System and research procedures - Previous experience in a medical function - Strong communication skills - Growth mindset Company Details: Novartis is dedicated to reimagining medicine to enhance and extend people's lives.
