Job Description

You will be a Medical Laboratory Technician at Micro Genomics India Pvt. Ltd. in Chennai, responsible for preparing and analyzing samples, conducting laboratory tests, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safety procedures are followed. Key Responsibilities: - Isolation of DNA from clinical samples - Performing PCR, GEL electrophoresis, and DNA sequencing - Extensive micro pipetting & measuring - Preparing solutions and reagents following laboratory formulas - Monitoring inventory levels and maintaining QC documents - Maintaining test logs, ensuring confidentiality, and following safety procedures diligently Experience: - Minimum 2 years experience handling infectious samples in a molecular diagnostic lab - Essential experience in Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) Qualifications: - B Tech / M Tech in Biotechnology or Genetic Engineering - BSC / M Sc. in Biotechnology or Genetic Engineering - BSC / M Sc. in Molecular Biology Skills: - Team Player - Excellent communication skills - Proficiency in English writing and speaking - Presentation Skills - General computer skills (Internet, Email, office package) If interested, send your CV to hr@medisequence.com to schedule an interview.
