Conduct routine preventive maintenance of MGPS equipment, manifolds, vacuum pumps, compressors, alarms, and distribution pipelines.
Identify faults in gas flow, pressure, alarms, and pipeline equipment; carry out repairs promptly.
Perform leak detection, pressure testing, and system calibration.
Record and monitor pipeline pressure levels, alarms, gas consumption, and system performance.
Maintain documentation and logs as per regulatory compliance.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols related to gas storage, handling, and emergency procedures.
Support certification audits by providing system inspection reports.
Ensure safe handling, storage, and transportation of medical gas cylinders.
Conduct training for hospital staff on safe usage and operation of gas outlets and alarms.
Respond to emergency breakdowns and ensure rapid fault rectification.
Maintain adherence to infection control and hospital safety guidelines.
Coordinate with biomedical engineers, facility management teams, OEMs, and safety officers.
Prepare reports on maintenance activities, system performance, and required improvements.
Assist in planning upgrades, expansions, or renovation of medical gas systems
