Medical Data Annotator

We are seeking Medical Data Annotators to support our team in annotating and reviewing clinical entities and terminology mapping results from unstructured healthcare data. The ideal candidate should have a background in medicine, nursing, pharmacy, or allied health sciences and a strong interest in healthcare data and clinical documentation. This is a short-term contractual position for 2–3 months, with a strong possibility of long-term engagement for promising and high-performing individuals. Key ResponsibilitiesAnnotate clinical entities such as diseases, procedures, drugs, and lab results from medical records, discharge summaries, and clinical notes. Review and validate terminology mapping results against standard vocabularies such as SNOMED CT, LOINC, and RxNorm. Collaborate with data scientists, domain experts, and NLP engineers to ensure annotation quality and consistency. Follow annotation guidelines and contribute to the improvement of annotation workflows. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive health data with integrity and compliance. Required QualificationsBackground in medicine, pharmacy, nursing. Ability to read, understand, and interpret medical documents. Familiarity with clinical terminologies and healthcare coding systems (e.g., SNOMED CT, ICD, LOINC) is a strong plus. Detail-oriented with good observational and analytical skills. Comfortable using annotation tools and web-based platforms.
