Medical Coding Specialist

We are seeking a Certified Medical Coding Specialist with strong experience in Personal Injury (PI) billing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with the Jane EHR application, a solid understanding of end-to-end revenue cycle processes, and practical experience working with SOP-driven workflows. The role requires up-to-date knowledge of recent October CPT/ICD coding updates* to ensure accurate coding and timely reimbursements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform accurate medical coding for Personal Injury cases using CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS codes
• Review clinical documentation and ensure coding compliance with payer and PI guidelines
• Manage the *complete billing lifecycle* for PI cases, from charge entry to payment posting and follow-ups
• Work within established *Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)* and contribute to process improvements
• Utilize the Jane EHR system for patient records, charge entry, documentation review, and reporting
• Identify and resolve coding errors, denials, and rejections
• Stay current with October coding updates and implement changes accurately in daily workflows
• Collaborate with billing, AR, and compliance teams to ensure timely reimbursement
• Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and compliance standards

Required Qualifications

• Certified Medical Coder (CPC, CCS, or equivalent certification – mandatory)
• 2–4 years of experience in medical coding, specifically in Personal Injury
• Proven experience using Jane EHR (Jane App)
• Strong understanding of end-to-end RCM workflows for PI billing
• Hands-on experience working with documented SOPs
• In-depth knowledge of *recent October CPT/ICD code changes
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with multi-specialty PI clinics (Chiropractic, PT, Pain Management, Ortho, Neuro, etc.)
• Familiarity with *telehealth coding updates
• Experience working with US-based providers and attorneys in PI cases

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
