Medical Coding

As a Medical Coder, your role will involve extracting pertinent data from patient records, liaising with physicians and other parties to clarify information, examining documents for missing information, assigning APC and DRG codes, ensuring documents are grammatically correct and error-free, conducting chart audits, providing medical coding advice and training, notifying supervisors of equipment and computer program problems, and ensuring medical coding policies and guidelines are followed.
