Medical Biller

Role Overview: You will be responsible for accurately processing patient billing, submitting insurance claims, and ensuring timely reimbursements as a Medical Biller in our healthcare team. Your attention to detail and efficiency will be essential in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and submit accurate medical claims to insurance companies. - Verify patient insurance coverage, eligibility, and benefits. - Maintain patient billing records and update account information. - Communicate with patients regarding billing inquiries and outstanding balances. - Collaborate with medical coders and other staff to resolve billing discrepancies. - Stay updated on insurance regulations, coding requirements, and compliance guidelines (HIPAA). Qualification Required: - Proven experience as a Medical Biller or in a similar healthcare billing role. - Strong knowledge of medical billing procedures, insurance guidelines, and reimbursement processes. - Familiarity with ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes is a plus. - Proficiency in billing software and MS Office applications. - Excellent communication and organizational skills. - High attention to detail and ability to multitask.
