About The Role

We are looking for a sharp, detail-oriented

Media Scanning Associate

to support our election campaign operations in Pune. The ideal candidate will monitor and analyze media coverage across print, digital, and television platforms, with a focus on political developments relevant to the upcoming BC elections.

Key Responsibilities

Track daily news from regional and national media platforms (newspapers, TV, online, social media) related to elections, candidates, parties, and local issues.Identify key narratives, tone, and sentiment of coverage.Prepare daily media briefs and detailed reports for internal teams and leadership.Tag and archive media content systematically for future reference.Coordinate with field and research teams to cross-verify facts and developments.

Requirements

Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in

Journalism

,

Mass Communication

, or related fields.

Language Proficiency:

Must be fluent in

Marathi

(reading, writing, and speaking) and have a good command of English.Strong understanding of the Maharashtra political landscape.Excellent news judgment and ability to differentiate between valuable content and noise.Comfortable with tools for digital monitoring, clipping, and media archiving.Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
