About the Role

Media Relations Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage effective media communication strategies.
  
• Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, media houses, and key industry stakeholders.
  
• Write, review, and distribute press releases, media pitches, articles, and other PR content.
  
• Monitor media trends, competitor news, and industry developments to identify PR opportunities.
  
• Ensure consistent messaging and brand positioning across all communication channels.
  
• Coordinate and manage press conferences, media briefings, events, interviews, and public announcements.
  
• Handle media inquiries and ensure timely responses to press-related queries.
  
• Track media coverage, analyze sentiment, and prepare media performance reports.
  
• Assist in crisis communication planning and support brand reputation management during sensitive situations.
  
• Collaborate with internal departmentsincluding marketing, strategy, and leadershipto gather information and create compelling media stories.
  
• Provide guidance on media approach for campaigns and customer engagement initiatives.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate in

  BBA / BMA / BMM

  or related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (English proficiency required).
  
• Excellent media networking and relationship management skills.
  
• Exceptional storytelling and content writing abilities.
  
• Ability to work under pressure, manage deadlines, and handle crisis situations.
  
• Strong understanding of media analytics and monitoring tools.

Preferred / Additional Consideration

• Candidates with a

  Journalism background

  are highly encouraged to apply.
• Experience working with PR agencies or media houses will be an added advantage.
