Media Production Specialist

As a media production specialist at Athena Education, you will be at the forefront of our media lab, responsible for creating engaging content through storytelling in the education sector. You will play a crucial role in managing the end-to-end production process, from pre-production setup to post-production editing, ensuring high-quality visual and audio content. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead the production process end-to-end, managing pre-production setup, videography, and post-production editing. - Produce long-form podcast-style content with high audio and visual quality using a 3-channel camera setup, condenser mics, and lighting. - Create, edit, and release short-form content for platforms like YouTube shorts and Instagram reels. - Repurpose content into distinct assets for omnichannel distribution. - Edit footage based on treatment notes, incorporating strong CTAs and L-banners for audience interaction. - Oversee technical aspects of filming, including multi-camera setups, diffusion lighting, and high-quality audio recording. **Qualifications and Skills:** - 3-5 years of hands-on experience in video production and editing with a strong portfolio showcasing long-form and short-form content. - Expertise in professional video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Davinci Resolve) and motion graphics. - Experience with multi-camera and podcast setups, along with streaming software like OBS. - Strong narrative sense, visual storytelling skills, and attention to detail. - Deep understanding of video content performance on various social media platforms. - Ability to manage multiple projects, adhere to content calendars, and meet deadlines. - Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively with the team.
